Stuart Anderson, Director, is a member of the Transition Management team and Market Structure and e-Trading team within BlackRock's Trading and Liquidity Strategies Group.
The Transition Management team is responsible for providing risk managed solutions to institutional investors undergoing portfolio reorganisations in multiple asset classes. In his role, Mr. Anderson works closely with the Australia client coverage teams to develop, position and promote BlackRock transition management and oversees the design and implementation of transitions for clients across Australasia.
Within Market Structure he is responsible for the implementation of various projects around electronic trading and derivatives regulation.
Prior to joining BlackRock in 2008, Mr. Anderson spent nine years with Bank of New York (formerly RBS Trust Bank) in derivatives operations supporting and managing Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), and then BlackRock's back and middle office functions.
Mr. Anderson earned a BSc degree, with honours, in politics and economics from York University in 1995
