Phil Graham is a Partner of Mercer, and is currently the Deputy Chief Investment Officer for the Pacific region in Mercer’s Investments business. In this role, he is responsible for Mercer's investment vehicles in Australia and New Zealand and working with Mercer’s institutional clients. Within Mercer, Phil is a member of the Funds Allocation and Strategy Team, the Pacific and Alternatives Investment Committees, and the Global and Australian Dynamic Asset Allocation Committees.
Phil gained 27 years of experience in investment and financial services. His previous roles include as head of manager selection at Access Capital Advisors, covering the cash, fixed interest and equity sectors; portfolio strategist in the international equity division at Queensland Investment Corporation; and as an economist with the Reserve Bank of Australia, ANZ Banking Group and ANZ Securities.
Phil holds a a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics from Macquarie University and a Masters of Commerce with Honours in Finance from the University of Melbourne. He is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation, is a former President of the CFA Society of Melbourne, and is currently the Presidents Council Representative for the Asia Pacific North and Oceania region for the CFA Institute.
